Client Testimonials from St. Paul, Minnesota

“I have visited Highland Park BP several times over the past couple of months and each time, I was greeted by a professional and friendly staff member. Whatever the reason for my visit - oil change, oil leaks, tire rotation, or fluid level checks - they got me in, reviewed, and discussed the issue with me. I recently had a concern and they were able to take a look on the spot and put my car up on the lift to check it out. They explained the situation and gave me free advice on what was needed. I know when I walk in the door, I will get honest, fast service by a great group of men.”

"Good service. Car Wash is decent for in-between thorough washes."

"Stopped in here for their Fall Car Care Package. My technician, John, Did his full inspection, changed out all the fluids, and gave me a run down of suggested repairs. Of all he recommended, I asked him only to go with the brake adjustments for now. The price was reasonable, and driving my car home later, I found they felt quite secure. A quality little shop. I'll definitely be going back there for my automotive needs. The neighborhood they're in is quite nice, too."

"For car service and mechanic work I have been treated very well here so far, with very fair prices including labor prices. I have gone here a few times for simple repairs (but both fairly urgent - one was a fallen exhaust pipe dragging that forced me to pull in there, the other was a headlight out the afternoon I needed to drive at night for hours - again, didn't have many options). Both times I had John as a mechanic. He was very nice, very professional, told me exactly what he was doing, and the fee charged for each servicing was very reasonable ($9 to fix the pipe with a "temp" fix that ended up lasting over 8 months!, and around $15 for the headlight replacement). Will go there again!"

"Small town store in the big city! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The mechanics do a great job at a fair price as well. Free car wash with an oil change too!! The gas is usually a bit more than Super America but it's also a top tier gasoline, which is worth the extra pennies. They also have a full service pump! Great for the elderly or folks from New Jersey that don't pump their own gas. I live close by and am here almost every day to get food and gas. The cashiers know what I want before I bring it up to the counter. If I'm not in a hurry, I'll stop by and shmooze with everyone here, not to mention some of the other regulars that I see here every day. it's not every place where you can get gas, food and make new friends!"

"The shop worked with me on a very short deadline for car repair. Tom was personable and exceptionally accommodating. They took great care and fantastic customer service. Neighborhood feel verses the big shops."

"The service guys John and Brian are wonderful, very thorough and considerate. Small-town feel in customer service, fair in pricing, and able to get your car in pretty quickly when servicing is needed. There is a coffee shop down around the corner on Hamline, next to the Nook, which is a better place to go to wait (or there's always Trader Joe's!)"

"Tom is an excellent mechanic. Can always trust that he's doing an outstanding job on my car. Thanks!"
